Run 'reset-all' and then run reset.exe or reset64.exe if you have a 64 bit windows. Go to ToastyX's custom resolution utility page and download CRU, also download 'reset'zip', the experimental driver restarter. With toastyX's strobelight, install a 121hz NON strobed mode with the setup.īTW there a little trick you can do to avoid rebooting: Not sure what else to add, please ask if you have questions. I do not get the occasional lag in BF4.Ĭore i7-4770 pc w/MSI GTX 970 with 2 GB ram If I reboot so that LightBoost is no longer activated, everything works fine, i.e. Just to try something else I then changed LightBoost Brightness to 50% with Strobelight, but that had no effect on the occasional lag. Then I set my screen resolution to 100Hz and Battlefield 4's game resolution to 100Hz. I set my pc's screen resolution to 120Hz and then changed the resolution inside Battlefield 4 to 120Hz as well. I've tried two days in a row now, the problem is there regardless of when I play. It also doesn't matter if strobing is turned on or off while playing the game (with Ctrl-Alt-minus) - the problem with lag persists. It doesn't matter which BF4 server I log on to - same problem persists. With LightBoost on, the game lags every now and then (as in: several times each minute) - and I pretty much never get lag when playing BF4 normally. I've installed LightBoost into my Asus VG248QE monitor via ToastyX's "Strobelight Beta 4" (with resolutions 120Hz and 100Hz) but I have problems getting it to work correctly in Battlefield 4.
